Rationale

The overall goal of this training program is to familiarize participants with the basic functions of the ORYZA model, minimum data requirement to run the model, experimental data collection for model outputs evaluation, parameter calibration, and applying ORYZA for the Rice Crop Manager.

Learning objectives

By the end of the workshop, participants are expected to:

• understand the basic operations of ORYZA
• identify and prepare the input files required for RCM
• understand the process/concepts of parameterization and calibration
• run Oryza and generate outputs
